The Forlorn Temple

This Ancient Temple site is unique not just within the Kingdom, but in the known lands. Built by unknown hands, the Temple grows and shrinks with the changing of the pantheon. While all deities are represented in the architecture, only the major, good aligned deities tend to keep any clerics or laymen on staff. While it is odd, pilgrims from across the world have come here, some from obscure cult, and have found space devoted to their divinity, but proportional to the power their god(s) wield. The temple has a series of guardians, beings from the plane of law who keep the piece (most people never see them, but their presence is felt and known). Due to these oddities, this location is one of the few places where conflicting religions can meet, and sometimes even civil conversation has been known to break out. While the good deities tend to keep staff, many other wandering profits, religious men and pilgrims are always on the temple grounds. It is very common practice for lesser clerics to make a pilgrimage here and serve their high priest for a period of time before returning to their original temple, or traveling the world again.
